2014…..Operation Pareto!

In my Church, the year 2013 was tagged the year of Pleasing God! And as the year comes to an end, I can’t but count my many blessings! God has indeed been faithful to me and I give myself a little pat on the back for endeavoring to please Him. Was I perfect? No! But, I’m sure closer to perfection than the preceding year.

In my family, God blessed us with Unions, Births, graduations, Jobs, Provision, protection and much more and I truly can’t thank the Most High God enough! Kabiyesi, Oluorun, I write to give you Twale!!!
Amidst all my many blessings, God gave me a lovely man... And now! ‘FINALLY’! (as everyone would add), I’m poised to getting married in a few months! God has indeed vindicated me by His Mercy and I’m forever grateful!

2013 has indeed been a good year and I’m positive 2014 would be better. I do not have resolutions perse but I really do want to apply the Pareto principle in 2014. I think I have done many things in 2013 and all I have done haphazardly! Thus, in 2014, I hope to focus my time, energy and resources on the major things that give me the most satisfaction/fulfillment. What I mean is that I hope to focus on my priorities in 2014.

In case you don’t know, the Pareto principle is also known as the 80/20 rule and is the idea that 20 percent of causes generate 80 percent of results. In applying this principle to my life therefore, I believe that if I can identify and focus on 20% of my core interest, I’ll achieve 80% (more) of the satisfaction that doing a little of everything would have generated.

Need I tell you my core interest, Nah! I just hope to focus on them….Since blogging isn’t one of them, I’m not sure I would blog at all in 2014…..So just in case anyone on the world wide web is/has been following my blog, my sincere apologies. I just hope I meet you sometime…

To 2013, I say thank you for being a good year, to 2014…I’ll say welcome, be better and be a great commencement to great and mighty things in my life….. I see a new beginning, a beautiful one at that!

Farewell 2013, Welcome 2014!

Blessings!
